The Panda was my first one too, I don't think I could sell this one even for a serious upgrade! Like you I changed the strap to the red stitch hornback and the changed again last summer to this: ...  

This straps looks good too, matching the silver dials!

When you get a chance can you pm me your strap source info? I do not have a local AP AD and I haven't purchased a replacement strap yet.
