Happy to help. In my opinion...

 

The 15202 is well worth the wait. I wear watches up to 47mm, but my sweet spot is 40-42mm. Still, on these Royal Oaks, this 39mm Extra-Thin is simply sublime on my wrist. It is perfect. And I happen to like the dial design a lot more than the 41mm model. So it is my best recommendation for a Royal Oak.

I have owned a good handful of "modern" APs. The 15202 is the last one I would ever part with.

it would currently be No. 5 in the 2017 Wish List....

....so will need to see a good confluence of events to unfold. But it always draws me in...every time i see it. I went into London to try one on as well...always a sign of deeper interest

The 15202 is my favorite AP creation.

I'm also confused about the RO, there is 15202 and then there is 15202 They are all jumbo, extra thin....and then there is the other black dial with AP wording at 12, 41mm but different rotor. So this one you show is the 40th anniversary from 2012? If onl...

The 40th Anniversary Royal Oak with updated dial, as I own and pictured above, is officially called "Royal Oak Extra-Thin" by AP. We referred to the older model it replaced as "Jumbo". And many still refer to the current model as "Jumbo". I'll be honest, ... 

I was told at the Hawaiian AD the one you mentioned has a wait of few months...just like 5711.
