I like the A-12xx
Interesting with the patina forming close to the markers.
Four shades of patina on Royal Oak ref. 5402. Three A-Series, one B-Series.
It is fascinating to see how the dials of the early Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watches took different courses of changing their colors. Left: A-3x Upper right: A-81x Middle right: A-12xx Lower right: B-2000 Have a good weekend, Cheers, HSTE ...

The A-81X seems to be the most “preserved” dial no? But I think I prefer the patina of the A-3X

It’s a shame that AP is so adamant that they have to be changed during servicing. I don’t see a valid reason but maybe I miss something.
