No doubt that she's a beautiful watch and you long for her again.
Has the reason you let her go the first time been solved? Or did you over react? I have always wondered about the durability and longevity of the forged carbon. Carbon has been in our universe a few billion years, but the man-made resin that binds it together is another issue. What about oxidation, chlorone or UV resistance? How hard or tough is the forged CF? Once you strike an edge (and there are many edges on an AP), what happens?

I love this version!
I kept my brand new yellow strap for the day when I can buy a carbon diver. Great for summer! Versatile and cool in my view. I too am now into middle age but I don’t think it’s too late !

This is why AP went away from CF bezels. The case will almost never take a big hit. I have the offshore chrono in this mix of materials and it is fine. Very cool watch - you should get it, yellow strap and all. Life’s too short.
