I wear what I want, when I want, everyone else be damned. If theft risk is very high, then I won't wear very valuable stuff. I just can't be made to care!

I’m curious, was it a certain AP model you were wearing that previously got unwanted attention i.e. was it an RO or ROO?

16202 Jumbo most recently, and before that the 43mm taupe Offshore. That one surprised me more. A steel bracelet RO is more recognizable to the masses.

Guess you had your RO for the trips? For the non-watch guys, the most recognizable on social media got to be the RO. I wore the starwheel for hiking in Western Australia earlier this year. Did not attract any attention mostly becos there were no one aroun...

I pretty much wear my sub for most activities - playing with kids, pool, etc. it’s an indestructible workhorse. When out I often wear non Rolex because everyone notices them and comments. Don’t have an AP imagine similar. I’ll wear ALS annual calendar and... 

And years ago, when I started wearing AP, nobody ever commented. I just prefer it that way. Thanks a lot, LeBron, Kevin Hart, TB, etc. No big deal really, and when someone is genuinely interested as a watch enthusiast, I am OK to speak with them.
