Zack, Thank you for the recommendation. I was in North America and went into the Oakley store and grabbed a large and a small. They are outstanding value and protect the watch really well. My ROC doesn't seem to fit in the small one, so that's for my wife...

That is a beautiful vault and a beautiful pair of watches. I'll have to wait to buy more watches! Unfortunately I travel to countries where customs are very sticky so I can't carry more than one watch anyway.

I've just ordered an Axis 8 watch box which fits in my safe but I was also thinking of getting one of these to go with it for traveling and extra storage. My box hasn't arrived yet but so can I ask how soft the cusions are..? Looks really good even with 2... 

I would say that the cushions are of medium softness. Their sides appear to be plastic pieces covered in foam and then suede(faux), while the middle is just foam covered in the same material. They are slightly compliant, but you can strap the watches tigh...

After using the AP pouch on my first trip, I've found a flaw that seems to rule it out long term for me. The zip is covered with leather on the outside but the serrated edges are exposed on the inside, which means I need to protect the watch with a soft c... 

Have not actually used any of mine for real travelling purposes.. I take only one watch along, and strapped them on the wrist!

I've had several pouches in the past but settled with this one in the end, for me it's the perfect one to carry an extra watch while away from home, a bit pricey though...
