The Survivor was a polarizing model when it was released, as I recall
I could understand those who intensely disliked the design just as I understood how excited many others, myself included, were by this bold extension of the Offshore line. Thank yo for the kind words. I am flattered to think that I might have swayed your opinion on this piece even a little.

The Survivor and Forged Carbon were both black watches with black dials on black rubber straps, so even though the size was different the aesthetic to me always felt the same. I ended up trading the 15400OR and that 44 Forged Carbon for a Rose Gold Grand ...
