It was a great surprise to be wearing this Jules Audemars...
And who should I bump into, but the man who designed the modern Jules Audemars, AND the original Royal Oak Offshore... ...

If the rest of that bezel fades away, you can always go to ceramic. I still love the look of the original, but the practicality of ceramic is something to consider.

Its look is very elegant and cool. The titanium/platinum mix together with the rhodium-colored dial is a perfect match. BUT, IMO, nothing beats AP's blue RO dial. Best, Volker
