As for the 5712, I wouldn't sweat it. Maybe I'm in the minority (wouldn't be the first time), but I much prefer to see a watch that shows the signs of use and enjoyment, over one that is in pristine condition but has spent its entire life on a winder or in a dark safe. Where's the fun in that?
