Rumors of Apple interested in buying McLaren

I could see them being interested in some of their carbon fiber technologies but I dismiss
this as nothing more than a rumor. I just don't see Apple being interested in combustion engines or such a niche area.
That is insane.
After everything Apple has been through trying to create their own car, they have finally come to a conclusion that this is not the business for them.
