A long time ago..
3+ years maintaining Puma & Wessex helicopters as an Airframe Technician, we didn’t have anything fun like assisting Caterham in my day, damn! I did get the chance to fly (as a passenger after some maintenance at a forward operating base) at very low level, hopping over trees and pylons, that was a buzz. On another occasion the chance to sit in the left hand seat (I think it was the left) and try and hover, I failed!
It was during those years that I purchased my first ‘nice’ watch IWC Mk XII, long sold.
