As a Clermont-Ferrand native, I am fan of Michelin of course. But I am not sure that's the case of everybody here (they do not know what they miss!).
This company is a true piece of history (with a big H in my opinion) and the Bibendum an icône.
All "true clermontois" were very sad when we learned the death of Édouard Michelin in 2006. May be one of his child will continue the great story of Michelin when they will be older.
