Goodwood Revival: a saucerful of Ferraris....and a 250 GTO that was wrecked during the race.
As some of you may know: the 250 GTO is somewhat rare. And quite expensive. One of the last on the market was sold in 2013 for USD 52 mln. The first picture shows a nice line-up of 250ies. And the last few pictures show the Ferrari 250 GTO with Chassis 4399GT that came off the track during the race and smashed into the wall. Ooops.

That's what I call proper!
If you have a car like that, putting it into air conditioned storage is a blasphemy in my book. Huge respect to the owner for using it as intended. And I suppose the repair costs will be manageable in the end... Not for me but for the owner

Race cars were meant to be raced. Cars were meant to be driven. None of them were meant to be stored away in case they got a scratch, this damage is not difficult to repair it will not even be horribly expensive.
My thoughts as well.
Most of the original parts of this car including the bodywork are probably stored away in a airconditioned facility anyway ;-)
