I have 435Xi Cabriolet
in the garage. I think the turbo lag is absolutely too much and I do not really like the engine. Earlier I had 135i Cabriolet with the same engine.
Yesterday I had a drove with Ferrari California T. There's no turbo lag and 560 HP and 755 NM torque are impressive. I drove in the city in Germany where the car was a normal everyday car. Then curly roads and turned the adjustments to Sport. Wow. Finally went to autobahn and accelerated. The car is a Beast!
What happened? I ordered it and paid the downpayment. Now my only issue is to decide if I will take the new Handling Package or not. That would make the suspension 12% stiffer in the front, 19% in the back. At the same time the car felt really stiff enough even I drove pretty fast in the autobahn.
But back to BMW: I will pay the Finnish car tax, take the Finnish registration palates (it's still in export plates) and leave the car to Helsinki. Then I'm always having a car there when going for a short trip to Finland.

but went for the 1m in the end. Just felt a bit more special as a real M. But a very nice car indeed! Dirk

The 1M is in a different league ... is pretty expensive now but will keep good value i guess ... the M2 is on my list now ;-)

When writing my post i was thinking of the Ferrari's new turbo engines ... i can imagine them being from another planet when you compare it to the BMW ... I'd be very happy with the new M2 ... but in 3 weeks the new Renault Alpine will be unveiled .... hm...

The front trunk is big enough
for all the milk we drink in a day plus some food. So it's perfect for the job. Best, Kari
