Luxury is not getting stranded
There's something to be said for un-plugging, and I certainly appreciate cars that require involvement. But I also know that vintage cars break down at inconvenient times even with diligent upkeep. Taking a modern Corvette on a road trip with zero percent chance of a breakdown in 100-degree weather has some value. For local cruises, shows, or errands, a C2 or C3 is fun.

I guess I've been lucky
My 2015 Volt has never had a problem. Even a nail in the tire stayed put long enough to reach a garage and get a fix. But all of the older cars I've owned required contingency planning. Best, Tim
Tough question. I would go for an analog. The charm of driving a good old car is inimitable. I think if utility if your main criteria, then digital is your world. If not, analog is your world.
