Abel, I agree touch controls can be trouble, but we also know that not all buttons are good buttons! The Citroen Visa I owned was a mystery at first but I quickly grew accustomed to it.
I find Rivian vehicles strangely ugly (weird headlights) and now that I have taken the time to look up Rivian dashboards I know I will never buy one!
Besides the stark appearance, perhaps it requires more hand-eye coordination and ability to focus on small regions of the screen, process the steps in my mind, go through the menus, etc.
All the time thinking "I just want Defrost NOW !"

Ah yes Mike. Agree that not all buttons are good buttons, specially when viewing the dash of the Citroen Visa! Lol!

Only for the 20 something salesman to try to impress me with the voice recognition to control climate control. The touch generation is hopeless I'm afraid.
I prefer manual controls over digital controls.
Analog controls offer feelings of solidity and precision which their digital counterparts can’t replace.
