Opinion sought..
As you guys know my amethyst 964 turbo that I gave my Dad is being completely rebuilt and at the end will be in the shop well over a year. The question is. We are adding speedlines to the car. I like the painted center wheel what do you guys think? Or keep it chrome to add contrast?

I go back and forth because it has the purple interior and exterior and then the purple wheels?
Is it too much purple rain? That's why I'm thinking chrome as well but then I see this pic and I'm like DAMN!
I don’t think so, but it’s not my call it’s my dads.
And he said he wanted the painted wheels. I think it gives it more pop as I look at painted vs non painted ...

The car has an unstock paint job — if it were me, I would go all in on it.
My personal preference is all painted.
I love that 90s vibe. What I'd actually do is if they are OEM seed lines I'd keep them mint then but a reproduction set and paint.
It's so tough, my dad is digging the purple centers. Might as well own the purple rain vibe.
We are upgrading the engine to a 3.4L it's going to be a charmer.

Chrome is my vote
I had almost the same car in blue with those wheels and I thought the chrome inserts made the wheels standout. My 2 cents. Either decision is correct as it is a bad car! Good luck with the resto!
both are cool
but I would choose silver wheels, it is a more technical choice. painted seems a little "car show" to me
Yea I spoke to the old man yesterday and he wants his purple.
Notified the shop to paint to interior wheel to match the car. With the new suspension we are also going to ride it low so it's going to look identical to the picture.
