and the brakes?
Most of what I am hearing about the US "super cars" is that they have improved much, but are still dangerous because thay have brakes that fade like crazy.  Especially anything coming from Ford.
Would love to hear that these reports are all wrong and the cars can be driven in the Alps without endangering others.

The Corvette was, of course, the first sports car I was aware of and my first ride in one was after I helped free a neighbors driveway of snow as a young kid. (I got the ride on dry streets some time later) It was a Stingray, early '60s, great styling.
I have problems with the face of this one 'though.  The wide rounded inlet in the front looks to my eyes like grandma without her teeth.  Ready to gum the competition to defeat.
