Spotted: A Vintage Bus Fest
I normally refrain from taking pictures of surfer vans, because there are so many, and they tend to be so rusty. But yesterday, while on a ride on my scooter, I came across this group.

Both clean as a whistle

and such nice colors.

Then around the corner, about 2 blocks away, I spotted this trailer -- made to look like a bus, and called "
Dub Box USA".

However, the cord running up to the house was a clue that visitors were in town for Thanksgiving and this was the overflow bedroom.

There was no VW bus around that could pull it, but the BMW SUV in the drive had a suspiciously shiny new tow hitch on back. Don't worry, it's all fiberglass, and no buses were harmed in its making.

No Westfalia pop-roof, but nicely curtained and with a little camper business going on inside.
Continuing around this morning, I found these
Stay tuned for more finds as the holidays bring lots of visitors to town (although probably not too many are braving the highways in vintage vehicles)
