Thanks for sharing this ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

And I expect the engine is 100% the same ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
You are right that there is artificial sounds piped in - nowadays sadly a standard. As far as artificial sounds go itโ€™s not the worst in my opinion. Without would be better but to be honest, opening the window doesnโ€™t result in an enhanced aural pleasure somehow ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ But most other cars are equally guilty. Thatโ€™s of course not to praise as such.
If the speed limits are low and strictly policed I would agree with you that the car makes little sense, as itโ€™s limits are too high and you will rarely venture into a part of its performance portfolio, where you can dance with it.
In Germany you will at least get to experience acceleration to high speeds regularly (all the way to 186 mph if the road is unlimited and sufficiently empty) and the outright grip if on a fast, curvy autobahn.
And some mountain passes in the vicinity can be hoots of fun even at the speed limits, as you need a car with high abilities to reach these.
But I can also fully agree to your too perfect comment - it probably wonโ€™t draw you in in the same way as machinery that might be objectively slower but where mastering it is a process and leaves you satisfied whenever you get it right ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
What did you replace the M4 with, if I may ask?
