The Aston Martin Atom - the most significant concept car of the brand πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

One still learns many a new thing about the automotive world even after decades of being in it 😊

Enter my lesson of today, the Aston Martin Atom. Not something you would recognize as a typical Aston but still one of the most, if not the most important car in the brand’s history. Why? In addition to being the first European and second worldwide concept car, it broke away from body on frame construction for AM, convinced David Brown to buy AM, formed the basis of the chassis all the way to and including the DB3 and managed to go through over 250k miles in its lifetime.

How’s that for an Aston hardly ever mentioned? What were some of your recent vehicle surprises?
