The buckets are the same as in your friend‘s car, the so-called 918 Spyder buckets. They are now discontinued. The 911 (992.2) has new buckets which are foldable. But I prefer the old ones as they are more filigree.
I have a 911 T too which I really like to drive as a daily. Great value for money!

There was no rear seats option for the S/T. What you see in the rear area of the car below the rollbar and what replaced the carpet is a part (made of leather and Race-Tex) designed and constructed by Sonderwunsch.
