We really do t know yet.

 

The Prancing Horse seems to be in better shape than last year (although last year they were fast in the winter tests too). And last year Hamilton also stated that Ferrari would be dangerous.

The only ones I’m wondering about are the Bulls. Verstappen is awfully quiet about the performance. Helmut is saying they are faster than Mercedes. And Gasly said he noticed a big difference with the 2018 engine.

Can’t wait until Saturday/Sunday.

All signs point to Vettel taking this win, but Hamilton is a qualifying monster, and Max gets off the line and consistently passes two cars before corner one. I think we know what Ferrari is bringing to the table with their car to Australia. The questions... 

On Sunday after the flag has dropped we will know the true race pace of the cars

Always exciting, a new start! In practice this morning however the Silver Arrows are still ruling.... But in an interview with Verstappen he told us that the Honda also has a ‘party mode’ for qualifying... But so do the Mercs so it probably won’t matter. ...
