You can get all of the same performance in the manual, brand new in the low 60s, maybe even less with recent discounts. I would argue it is the very best driving experience available in a new car at such a price. Some of those stickered up "limited editions" get into the 80s. At that point, just move up to the CT5-V Blackwing with the supercharged V8. This car has the twin turbo V6.
Compared to a Corvette C8, it's lighter, longer, narrower, taller, same price range and almost as powerful (with a back seat)

I know this is the pimped out IMSA edition with fancy seats and trim
and I know I could get the CT5 too but this one is smaller and lighter (3800 vs 4130) and fits my garage.
I owned one for 2 months while awaiting the CT5-V Blackwing. It is stupendous.
But don't waste your money on the stickers. Here was mine. Same seats (you can only get semi-aniline in the 5 Blackwing, although these LE 4s do have the carbon backing. The semi-aniline are so much better, I wish they offered them in the 4, but hey, you ...

It's lighter than a C8? Surely you jest...😉
They are close but the CT5-V is more than 4000 lbs. while a base C8 is around 3700 lbs.

I don't recall the weight off hand. The 5 is a heavy beast, yet still rolls around a race track in epic fashion.
Cadillac's specs which we know are conservative are a lot more than that...
And, there's a big difference between the V and the Blackwing. Methinks if you actually weighed a Blackwing, it would be above 4000 lbs... Chevy, on the other hand, claims the base C8 weighs 3366 lbs. which is grossly underrated... ...
