Who's up for Porsche's Lava Orange 911?
I was at a local Porsche dealership event showcasing the new 2017 911's. Below are pictures of a 911 in Lava Orange, a $3140 paint option. Pretty bold color for one who wants the attention.
I'm highlighting this car because the new 2017 911's come with the option of a sport exhaust ($2,950 option) which gives the car 2 exhaust tips near the center of the car.
I didn't get a chance to hear the new 911 sports exhaust but the salesman there said it sounds pretty good and does have the "pop" sounds.

One of the best things of an electric car, next to the intense torque, is the total lack of engine sound.
Silence in our hectic world is a thing to cherish. Especially while doing 0 - 100 km/u in 3,2 sec ;-)

Our world is loud enough - take a moment to imagine how much more pleasant our cities and lives would be without the noises of loud buses, trucks, cars and motorcycles - not to mention all the heat and the exhaust fumes on the streets. Best E.

The exhaust system is not terribly expensive.
Just today I ordered Akrapovič exhaust system in titanium for my 911 GTS. That was more than double. But this system gives a few additional HP, some additional torque and a lot of sound ! The last one is important. Best, Kari

In a way it is stupid

When I drive in Lapland,
the roads are in great condition, fast to drive and the scenery is stunning. But it can happen that in one hour I do not see another car - just lots of reindeer walking stupidly in the middle of the road. Good brakes are needed! Kari
