Jaeger-LeCoultre: That's a cool idea. I would probably go a darker strap color to match the dial.

The stitching in the color of the Chrono hands is a good idea too. For some weird reason, certain colors of edge paint just don't hold up as well as black edge paint. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but I remember the gray edge paint on a brand of straps would always flake away after a few months, e

Chopard: Exquisite!

I remember the bees! I'll have to pay closer attention to the difference in the lugs the next time I have the original 1860 along with the newer one. I only noticed the brushed side on the newer one (vs the polished sides on the original). Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Patek Philippe: Fair!

I think there are a lot of things that we do to watches that are really bad for them. I don't know how much go-karts vibrate, these were electric go-karts, so they vibrate less than gas ones.
