With a vintage car you and the car have to work together to get from A to Z. Mess up and you might be in the ditch or walking with a gas can in your hand.


Now the car does 90% of the work, helped by Big Brother at the factory, showroom, or licensing authority. 

IF they move to charging us per-mile-driven, based on digital tracking, I will turn off my phone and drive my analog cars.

It was a different experience that we had 50-100 years ago - having a car was the way to freedom. 


Now "freedom" comes to kids in their bedroom via mobil phones.
