BRESSEL 1665 CHRONOGRAPH Rattrapante Foudroyante "Ago" JEANRICHARD Manufacture develops precision complications for motor sports and pays tribute to motorbike legend Giacomo Agostini. March 2007 marked the beginning of a new fascinating
partership between famous Italian motorbike manufacturer MV Agusta and
JEANRICHARD. The swiss manufacture is firmly committet to the pulsating
world of motor cycling. It is therefore no surprise the brand extended
it´s spectrum by signing a partnership agreement with Giacomo Agostini
- nickname Ago. This exceptional Ambassador of JEANRICHARD and his fascinating career is celebrated with a remarkable time-keeper: the Bressel 1665 Chronograph Rattrapante Foudroyante Ago . Produced in a limited number of fifty pieces, with
silver or black dial, its case is crafted in palladium, a precious
metal part of the platinum family. The watch is worn on a "vintage"
brown strap, procuring it a slight rebel masculine look. Fitted with an
automatic winding mechanical movement visible through a transparent
case-back displaying Ago’s signature, the Bressel 1665 Chronograph
Rattrapante Foudroyante Ago is one of the most spectacular
complications of Haute Horlogerie: a jumping split seconds Chronograph,
capable of measuring times accurate to one eighth of a second.
During his seventeen year career, Giacomo
Agostini has won not less than fifteen world championship titles, ten
titles on the Isle of Man and 123 Grand Prix. In the 1960 and 1970’s,
Agostini became the first superstar in the world of motor cycling. With
a preference for racing racing classes of 350 cc or 500 cc machines, he
was the man to beat.
