The further work you are referring to on the TR occurred before the contract was let for delivery? Even so it seems the small crown survived. Also, yours also apparently has no case number on the back—otherwise caseback the same as the Navy’s delivered wa...

XX-FF. I was curious where you got this information. I don't think I ever saw a balance bridge with FOG initial on a US market dive watch.

These mk2s are as rare as the US Navy. We can't talk about limited series or prototypes, but rather a few test copies. I only listed a few parts. Yes, mine like Blancpain's (exhibited in 2013 in Basel for the FF's anniversary) and Phillip's do not have a ...  

I have seen people refer to these as AMs (With the TR style back). There is another for sale right now with an “AM” back but if the back is accurate, then the other parts or most of them are not correct, at least to me. . Do we have two different species?...

I have a photo from a collector that shows the bezel on his has the minute markers. I have not seen the back of it. It does have the TR style hands though. He calls it an AM, so I imagine it has the AM back. Either they—AMs—-can have either bezel or his w...
