Dear Henrik,

Thank you so much for your detailed answer! I agree that the watches are not really comparable. I was actually looking for the full calendar and on that occasion they also showed me the other watches. So let me share my thoughts:

Like you I found the Villeret with retrograde small seconds the least interesting of the bunch. The blue dial is very nice, but overall I much prefer the moonphase over the retrograde small seconds. The dial of the Ultraplate does not have enough spice, IMO.

The full calendar in white gold is very appealing. But to be honest, I found the blue a bit too dark (almost purplish) and for a dress watch I prefer the white dial which is very classy and more under the radar. I find this the best looking full calendar I have seen (along with the VC Historique). Some time ago I had almost bought the 38mm version, but found it slightly too small on my wrist. 40mm is just perfect!

Now, the surprise favourite was the Bathy in gray ceramic! The blue dial is stunning. The Bathy is much easier to wear than the 5015, especially because it is 2 mm thinner. As much as I love the design of the 5015, I found it too thick and bulky on my 17 cm wrist. My only complaint about the Bathy is the date (but at least it's quite well integrated).

Finally the Milspec. This is surely a spectacular watch and I have to say that the size looks quite perfect on the picture (it feels a bit small when you put it on after the Bathy...). It just doesn't work very well as dress watch (which it is not supposed to be!). I need to try it again in casual clothing.

So the full calendar in steel, the Bathy in gray ceramic and the Milspec are on my list. Not sure yet which I will get (first).

Best,
Matthias
