My Small Blancpain Collection: 2685F & 2125

Finally bought my dream 40mm Blancpain Perpetual Calendar 2685F-1127-53B which is made of Stainless Steel but looks quite similiar to the Blancpain Masterpiece 1735 (Note: in my point of view) that I can never afford. It is a new old stock and I am thinking of getting a X71 bracelet for it. However, it will cost be more than US$2000 ..... a tough decision to make.

My other Blancpain is my Stainless Steel Leman 2125-1130M-71 Tourbillion with X71 bracelet.

Although it is not the Desert Storm limited edition model but it ljust ooks exactly the same. If I wear it with the leather strap and buckle, it is very hard to tell whether it is made of SS or 18K white gold. I can wear it in all occasions or even during showers or under heavy downpour.

Due to my limited wrist time, I have sold my Leman Titanium / Red Gold Reveil GMT Alarm 2041-12A30-64B and Red Gold Villeret Perpetual Calendar 6057-3642-53B. I am now a happy man and I guess I won't buy anymore Blancpain in the near future.

The X71 for these two Blancpain(s) are different

Swatch Group told me that Blancpain HQ confirmed that the bracelets for these two models are not interchangeable. The endpieces and case thickness are different as the case sizes are 38mm and 40mm. I believe it may be more value for money to buy an used 4...
