If its strap choices, I would suggest a black or grey nubuck strap in either buffalo, or maybe even crocodile. Do you remember the Jules Verne type of straps Panerai makes? I think those would look really cool when paired to your ceramic Bathyscaphe. Oliver, one of our moderators, also swears by the Barenia leather straps made by Blancpain. You could check them out as well.
If it´s threads in the forum, don't think too much about it. Just post photos of your Bathyscaphe, we will certainly enjoy them!

Btw, does anyone know how to replace the hardware on the NATO straps ? Can\'t figure them out. (Haven\'t probed too hard)

Hi Kour! Each bracket is hold by 2 spring bars. With the proper tool & a bit of patient, it is possible but be careful not to scratch your hardware. You know you can always bring the strap to Blancpain, they will be more than happy to do for you! Good luc...
