Great to see the familial connection between these two watches on display. I do love the warmth, and saucer shape of the vintage, but given the choice, I'd go for the elegant and glossy anniversary edition. The FF 50th anniversary looks like a watch James Bond would wear for a night of poker. Both are great watches, and your photo treats them as equals. In this case, the designs of the past have certainly informed the aesthetics of the present.
