I have been intrigued by the Bathyscaphe chronograph flyback with the ceramic case (caliber F385) and by the pure Fifty Fathoms 5015 (PR 5 days!) for quite a long time.
Many years ago two different ADs told me that there had been "technical issues" with some Blancpain models in the past. So I became perhaps too overcautious and finally hesitated to pull the trigger.
But my fascination in Blancpain has never stopped. And I have heard and read so many great things about this brand.

Both, the ceramic chrono and the Sedna gold Bathyscaphe are performing very well...

Those technical problems the ADs mentioned...
... go back to the 1990s with the ultra slim movements. That was the early days of Blancpain, but some ADs keep the memory alive... I have owned 7 watches with calibre 1315, none of them had any issue. Can't say that about some other brands ADs may talk h...
