The hands have been changed, but it doesn't matter. It is a superb catch.

What makes you think they have been replaced?

The luminous material is way too white for Radium, and
The white paint of the hands is too clean. But the fact that the hands were changed is not a big deal. Best, Nicolas

Back in the early Eighties when I worked as a field engineer for Sperry (now Unisys) onboard the USNS Vanguard (civilian navigation engineer). I remember the Hunley. Quite a country, Scotland. Great watch, thanks for the story and pics. ^_^
