This is always much more interesting to read thoughts from owners...

Who spent an important time in living with the watch they"re writing about...

They know what they're saying, they live with the pros and the cons, and they can describe in total sincerity their time keeper.

The modern FF is an important watch, a very appealing one.

I somewhat regret that Blancpain made so many iterations of this watchn, turning into the original concept, without reaching to touch it.

Let me be clear: The 2007 version is, to me, the most interesting. But I think that the other iterations are " surfing " a bit on the hype, which is a paradox for a diving watch.



While they could stick to 3 or 4 historical models, like the first round circles, or the Milspec, not to mention the TR 900, or the US NAVY.

On another side, taking some distances with the original movement, to adopt a modern and very nice caliber, is a true positive thing, in my book.

The sapphire bezel is another great point. Much less fragile, and much more resistant than the original bakelite bezel.

I also appreciated a lot what you wrote about your feeling on the value of the watch.

This is true love from a true passionate, without any possible doubt.
