Can you use the sail cloth strap in the pool and the sea, or does it degrade it? The stitching looks very nice but I’m wondering if it is vulnerable in the water. Also, do you find the watch fully useable as a water sport piece, and is it susceptible to s...

I’m speaking from personal experience. I’ve got the early chronograph steel with grey dial and the cloth strap you’re referring to. I wear the watch a lot when I’m swimming either in the pool or in the ocean, and it’s been perfect for 4 years now. ... 

Have had my Bathyscaphe in the pool, ocean, beach etc all on the Sailcloth strap.. It holds up very well and was designed to be in the water.
