The "chinoise" (7337) has a second hand while the 7137 doesn't. This could be important: I know that some people don't like "static" dial. But you can't be wrong with any! Fx

LOL. No budget for both! And they are similar in any event. I went to see the watches again yesterday. I liked them both! The 7137 has a busier look whereas the 7337 is simpler and perhaps more user-friendly. It arguably is easier to tell the time on the ... 

I have a 3137 which is the smaller version of the 7137. I bought it because it was inspired by the breguet no 5. and also the fully engrave caseback. i have enjoyed it tremendously and i hope you will too when you choose the 7137

Breguet 7337. I prefer the symmetry of the dial. Except maybe the seconds subdial, it off centre. But its more symmetric than the other modell. Symmetric dial usually work. ...  

Thanks for this. I tend to agree with you that symmetry is harmonious and aesthetically-pleasing. That said, there is a trend towards assymetric-type displays as well. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

I used to think I preferred symmetrical dials, but experience is showing me that asymmetrical dials can retain my interest for longer. Symmetry can get boring! It's partly why that offset subseconds dial adds some needed tension to the face. Andrew
