Classique Chronograph...5247
I recently saw a post elsewhere about this marvel and started to think (always leads to problems in my case!): while I love the JLC Duometre a chronograph...it just felt too big on my wrist, and subsequently it did not enjoy a lot of wrist time. Well, I traded it off for this:
These pictures don't really convey the beauty of the dial, nor can I describe the joy of winding the movement...but I am very happy with the change. I know the landmark ground JLC broke with the introduction of the Duometre, but the simple beauty of this Breguet really makes me smile. I have made a new rule for myself...avoid timepieces greater than 40mm. Wonder how long I will stick to this rule.
When I look at this Breguet...I feel a sense of the long history of watches in general...I am pretty sure this watch will remain with me for a very long time. Pure joy and beauty on one's wrist...how can it get better than this emotion?
