LOL. No budget for both! And they are similar in any event.

I went to see the watches again yesterday. I liked them both! The 7137 has a busier look whereas the 7337 is simpler and perhaps more user-friendly. It arguably is easier to tell the time on the 7337 than the 7137 because it's subdial doesn't overlap with anything but for the seconds dial. Also, the 7337 gives more prominence to the moon face, which could be decisive for certain people, and has a day-date complication that is easier to read and cleaner than the date complication (with the "clou de Paris" motif) in the 7137.

One other factor to consider - the 7337 comes in rose gold whereas the 7137 does not.

The Breguet sales staff was telling me that while both watches are obviously very classic looks and extensive history, etc., the 7337 has turned out to be a considerably better seller than the 7137. To be taken with a grain of salt of course.

I'll make uop my mind by next week but truth be told, I started leaning towards the 7337 more and quite like the rose gold too.

I have a 3137 which is the smaller version of the 7137. I bought it because it was inspired by the breguet no 5. and also the fully engrave caseback. i have enjoyed it tremendously and i hope you will too when you choose the 7137

Thanks for this. I tend to agree with you that symmetry is harmonious and aesthetically-pleasing. That said, there is a trend towards assymetric-type displays as well. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

I used to think I preferred symmetrical dials, but experience is showing me that asymmetrical dials can retain my interest for longer. Symmetry can get boring! It's partly why that offset subseconds dial adds some needed tension to the face. Andrew
