I would normally agree (no need to rehearse here the endless comments about the date window in another Breguet Classique - I used to own it). But with great respect for your expertise and taste, I disagree in this instance. Without the date window. the dial would be too empty and lack balance. In the original model of this regulator, the date was at 3 o'clock and it was clearly in the wrong place. At six o'clock, in my view, everything is well situated and there is just the right amount "going on" to create a harmonious whole.
