I would make sure that the bracelet has stitched tabs.
I once had a Hirsch strap where the glue came off and I almost lost my Speedmaster. When I complained, I was told that the bracelet was too old at 3 years and therefore they would not accept any warranty. That was definitely my last bracelet from Hirsch.
