Breguet

During a long time, I thought that the Breguet 5140 (automatic movement with an off-centered small second) was the best option, with a more affordable price than the Tradition, to enter Breguet's world. But in my head I was regretting the use of this auto...  

yellow gold Tradition and Reveil du Tsar...........................In my opinion the 5140 is the best.....But I do like the guilloche on the 5967..................All in All...Breguet are unique and the best of the best..........great pics by the way.

Obviously, the 5140 is a nice watch: with this review I expressed my point of view and I perfectly understand why others may prefer the 5140 to the 5967. Thanks for your comments! Fr.Xavier

nice pictures and personal thoughts FX. Maybe it was a shy introduction because the (more or less) same movement was and is still used in pocket watches from Blancpain. Nonetheless it is a nice watch with a beautiful movement and a probably a "bargain" co...

5907... My fav, size-wise and better proportioned dial to my taste. But movement looks nicer in 5967 To me, this is THE Breguet. 90 hour power reserve. Fits my wrist nicely Thank you, FX! Ken...  

The 5907 is also one of my fav dress Breguet indeed. For me without the secs hand i feel that something is missing. If only the dress Breguet comes in SS.....oh well...

My problem is that I am not a fan of this particular guilloché on the dial. I honestly would have preferred a simple white dial and then I think I would be sold on this watcH. I think that I am going to have to look at the pictures a little more and ... 

One of the great choice to enter Breguet world. This model is just straight forward goodness. The dial is pretty interesting , giving a touch contemporary while retaining the tradition. Thanks FX for the thoughts and nice pictures too. Kong
