My mother has this one
So I can comment. It is one of two simpler models introduced last year. If the watch is to be a daily wear, than the version with less diamonds will be perfect. IMO there is enough 'bling' on the lugs and the buckle to fulfill your wife's requirement. Also the black dial means the watch will draw more attention than the similar dial in white colour (same reason I'm eyeing Patek 5205R with black dial).
One thing to note is the size - it is really a big watch due to oval shape, and you should think hard whether it will suit your wife. My mother is in her early 60s now, so her wrists are a bit thicker.
Also to reply to dr.kol - when I visited Patek during my SIHH stay they said the same

They were actually the only boutique to acknowledge the watch, that was a very nice touch
Thanks for the comments

Hi PawZaw, thanks for sharing your comments, much appreciated. You're right about the size it is the one thing that we're concerned with. Cool to hear the acknowledgement from the PP folks about their thoughts on the Reine de Naples design. ps - the 5205R...
