Dark dial with metal hands and markers are always less legible
It's true on the blue dialed wg Daytona as well, for example. The second one, the Marine Tourbillon Chronograph, subway more legible. The guilloche dial is slightly darker than the plain marine chrono, but still light enough to be clear.
I prefer the first one (5887) because the overall dial is more in the "Marine spirit" for me (blue colour and dial waves more particularly)
