Celebrating 40 With a Good Cause I never thought that turning 40 would be a big deal. It's just a number and I certainly don't feel like I have four decades of real living and learning under my belt. After all, I have yet to form a retirement plan, occasi...

I think a lot of Purists know that feeling of living slower than aging .. well, i do i guess .... and i turn 45 this year ... yikes !!! But not so yikes as my two best-Purist-friends turning 50 this year ... héhé ... . Enjoy your forties Ping ! Filip

... I fully understand your feeling of aging slower than the numbers are passing by. At least according to my self-depiction and my always "child-like" behaviour (I hesitate to call it childish, since I feel my ability to express emotions and to be enjoy ... 

I am creeping up on 40 myself (in April). I'm with you and to me is is just a number. My kids get more excited than I do, but I hope to enjoy it and would love to grab a milestone present as you did.
