First of all – many thanks to Patrick for his fantastic introduction to the world of the Octo Finissimo, and for all the great insights and experiences shared in his threads and posts.
His ultimative thread about 8 months ago reads like an Octo Finissimo roadmap — beautifully written, full of passion and first-hand experience. It’s a real pleasure to see such knowledge combined with enthusiasm, and to rediscover how rich this line has become over the years: from the Tourbillon and the Minute Repeater to some of the wild limited editions we rarely get to see in person.
My original target was the Lee Ufan — spectacular … but impossible to get, of course.
And then – as it so often happens in this hobby – YouTube played its part: I stumbled upon the Revolution Edition, and was instantly hooked. A 20-piece limited model, entirely hand-polished titanium, which is said to give the case and bracelet a soft and almost organic feel, very different from the usual sharp geometry of the Finissimo line. There’s a short video with Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani and Wei Koh about it – I recommend it for anyone who loves the design story behind it.
The watch is currently… at customs. 😅
I’ll report back soon once it finally reaches my wrist – and we’ll see if it feels as magical in person as it looks on screen.

All the best, my dear watch friends
Thomas
