The dilemma with the collection?
While eagerly anticipating the release of the new Bulgari collection at local AD's and boutique, I was thinking about the various models and trying to decide which one I would like to handle first.
Then i thought about the various watches and how exciting it would be to review one of the pieces. But which one? If I had the opportunity to pick one watch for an extended on-the-wrist review, which one would it be?
Would I review the latest addition to the Sotirio collection powered by the first in-house Bulgari mechanical self-winding movement Calibre 168? I've been really drawn to the clean dial layout and the more sophisticated look of the 18k pink gold version on the alligator strap. And of course a chance to examine the Calibre 168 up close and personal with a loupe:

Or something sportier from the Bulgari collection Daniel Roth like the Endurer Chronosprint? This is one of the DR pieces that I was dying to see the previous year but it never made it to my local AD. Wouldn't it be great to try one of these for a few months and compare it to it's rivals like the AP ROO and PP Nautilus:

Or maybe even another sportier watch from the Bulgari collection Gerald Genta like the Octo Bi-Retro Steel Ceramic? I love the case design with the chiseled and angled case and lugs, and that synthetic strap with the angles look amazing in pics:

So..... if you were given a chance to review one of the new Bulgari watches which one could you see yourself choosing for an extended on-the-wrist review?

Had the opportunity to try the Endurer, and it is simply fantastic... The complication itself is not erally a treat, maybe a simple chrono would have been more impressive, but somehow it seems that the Endurer will be only the first of its kind... Imagine...

Must have been a cool experience to see it! Were there any other Bulgari watches that caught your eye? Did you have a chance to check out the finishing on the Calibre 168? Regards, ED-209

Basel 2010 was sort of a new page in Bulgari strategies....... Which actually doesn't seem very coherent, nor defined. The Daniel Roth models have been rather poorly introduced, with only the Endurer that is the real star.... Other DR models are interesti...

Thanks DRMW. I'm kinda leaning towards the Sotirio. Which version do you like better? I like the pink gold the best, but the DLC version has a pretty nice looking dial with the hour glass shaped curve in the middle. Regards, ED-209

For all this info..... I always had a soft spot for Bulgary.... It was my first "real" watch, a present given by my father... Unfortunatelly I no longer have it, as it was stolen from me.... DR & GG evolution in Bulgary warmed me into this brand again.......
