Bulgari

Just on a whim, passing by a Bulgari boutique, popped in and asked if they had the new titanium ultra-thin. Didn't expect I would like it much but I was a bit curious, and I thought Mrs E, who was in tow, wouldn't mind - she can look at the other stuff in...  

I initially thought 42 was going to be too big, but like you, I loved the way it hugged the wrist and the weight is non existent. The bracelet is also well made and sits well. Trying it on does not help the will to reduct watches

Afraid you're right...this one is not leading me down the path of having fewer watches! Actually, who knows. It's a bit of a "go anywhere, do anything" watch, at least for someone with my lifestyle - which is to say, no need for a watch that can go 2000m ... 

whether the watch is 40 or 41 but definitely not 42. Hodinkee's review states that it is 40 while the Bulgari sales person told me yesterday that it is a 41. I tried it on and loved it!! Its weightlessness is a big plus for me

I tried it on with the bracelet and it’s incredibly light, teal piece of art. With the bracelet it’s not really a subtle watch and it looks like it could double as a teleportation device straight out of a sci-fi movie. If that’s your thing, it’s brilliant... 

And that was the question - is it too Space-Age? The jury is still out but what's not up for debate is the quality of the bracelet - very good, lovely finish, no need for polished elements at all - not to mention the design of the clasp is really intellig...

The extra premium for the bracelet is also not as significant if you compare it with most other brands. I would definitely recommend to get the bracelet version if you are considering to get the watch. The only thing is that you forget you are wearing the...  

Looks good! Think I would definitely get it on the bracelet - and as you say, the bracelet doesn't come at an unreasonable premium. The lightness of the automatic is quite remarkable. I tried the hand-wound version in platinum and the shine from that meta... 

The Ti version is more unique and goes well with both casual and formal attire. Just so versatile and comfortable to wear in any occasion.

Well, I went to see my pusher last night and it looks like I'm in luck with my timing and supply of this somewhat rare piece, so in the spirit of striking while the iron is hot, it seems there will be a new beauty on my wrist very soon. 😄 Best E.
