Cartier Pasha movements
rwk246,
That is a blast from the past. In the 'noughties' (2000 - 2009), especially in the early years of that decade and the last part of the 'nineties', the Cartier Pasha was almost a cult watch amongst Japanese 'office ladies'. It seemed to be a straight fight between Cartier or Frank Muller for favourite "OL" watch.
Men could wear the large versions too and there was a nice story about the chained crown cover for water resistance and an eastern potentate.
The smalll models had quartz movements. The current Miss Pasha models have quartz MC157 movement in them.
The large models had an ETA 2892-2 supplied automatic movement that was decorated and renamed MC049. The current Pasha C models have MC049 movements.
The 32mm Cartier Pasha ref 2528 had an automatic 500MC movement based on the Piaget 500P family. Redecorated in the Montres Cartier style, it was renamed with the appropriate MC code.
Regards,
MTF

Curious to know what movement is in Cartier Ref 2528, as in the (new to my wife) Mdl WJ1111M9. I doubt this was in -house that far back (watch is about 10 yrs old, I believe). JLC? Valjoux? Other? Thanks in advance
